Redmer Releases TV Ad Featuring Governor Larry Hogan
TOWSON, MD - Al Redmer, Jr., the Republican nominee for Baltimore County Executive, today began airing a second television for the general election. The ad, which will be shown on broadcast networks, features wildly popular Republican governor Larry Hogan, who has enthusiastically supported Redmer’s candidacy since it was announced in September of last year. The 30-second ad highlights the close personal and professional relationship between Redmer and Hogan, and how their similar leadership styles will benefit Baltimore County residents and job creators.
“I remain immensely grateful to Governor Hogan for his strong endorsement and steadfast support throughout this campaign,” Redmer said. “Governor Hogan’s leadership has greatly benefitted the state of Maryland, and I want to bring that same brand of pragmatic, results-focused leadership to Baltimore County. As County Executive, I’ll work side by side with Governor Hogan to demand accountability in our schools, encourage job creation, and make Baltimore County safer and more affordable.”
“Al Redmer is the most qualified Baltimore County Executive candidate in decades, and he is the only candidate in this race with the experience and vision to get Baltimore County back on the right track,” Governor Hogan said. “Together, Al Redmer and I will be strong partners and will work together to change Baltimore County for the better.”
Earlier this month, Redmer was the first candidate for Baltimore County Executive to release a television ad. He has run the most competitive general election race for Baltimore County Executive by a Republican in a generation, reaching a number of historic milestones in the last several weeks. To date, the campaign has raised over $1 million, shattering the previous Republican fundraising record for this office. In addition, Redmer is the first Republican in Baltimore County history to receive the endorsement of all three major public safety unions: Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #4 (police union), Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #25 (sheriffs union) and the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 1311 (fire fighters union). Redmer has also garnered the endorsement of a number of well-known and influential Baltimore County Democrats, including former County Executive Dennis Rasmussen, former County Councilman and state Delegate Joe Bartenfelder, and former Lt. Governor of Maryland Mickey Steinberg.
