Al Redmer, Jr. is a lifelong resident of Baltimore County with a wealth of executive experience in both the public and private sectors.
Al has more than 45 years’ experience serving his community, from his days as a volunteer firefighter, to serving as the President of the Perry Hall Improvement Association, representing District 8 in the House of Delegates, and serving as Maryland Insurance Commissioner under two governors.
In addition, Al has experience in the private sector running both large companies and small businesses, and has launched two successful insurance businesses. In fact, Al has more executive-level leadership experience than any other current candidate or recent County Executive.
Al’s campaign for County Executive is focused on building a long-term plan for Baltimore County, something that has not been done in decades.
Al’s background in both the public and private sectors, as well as his experience and success in setting standards, creating a culture of accountability, and driving organizational change is exactly what we need in our next County Executive.
